About Us
Challenge First Aid Ltd is owned and run by myself Lindley Chambers. I am a keen Outdoors Person, Runner, Walker and Mountain Leader with experience leading expeditions around the world and i am trained as a Wilderness EMT with WEMSI as well as previous experience as a Medic in the Military and First Aid trained in the Fire Service.
We believe outdoor first aiders should not just be good at first aid but understand and be part of the sports they are providing first aid to.
How can we provide first aid to a high standard in a remote area or to a runner if we don't understand the event or how to look after ourselves in the cold and wet away from a comfy building or vehicle. I have run and competed in races and understand how much runners want to finish a race and why, we will do all we can to support that whilst keeping you as safe as possible.
We can all map read and survive in the harshest conditions and be comfortable enough to still be able to provide you with the best care.
Our first aiders are mostly Mountain Leaders or experienced outdoors people or runners and trained to outdoors first aid standards or better.
We will always choose a team for you with the relevant skills and experience for your type of event and meets your needs and budget.
